The bill (Reg.
No. 7509) amends Clause 23 of the applicable Law to allow payment of stock, if
they are placed as government stock in the cases envisaged by the law.
By the subject of legal regulation, the bill belongs to the sphere of financial services, the law on companies and rules of competition. In the European Union law these spheres are regulated by the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and the Commission Directive No 2006/111/EC of 16 November 2006 on transparency of financial relations between Member States and public undertakings as well as on financial transparency within certain undertakings.
